Schumer, Democrat Thugs Threaten Republicans
In a string of recent media appearances, top “progressive” politicians, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, spewed a series of threats that can only be viewed as a “thug-out” at Republicans.
At a rally in front of the Supreme Court, Schumer threatened two Supreme Court justices about the repercussions of voting the “wrong” way on an abortion case currently being heard in the Supreme Court.
“I want to tell you [Justice Neil] Gorsuch,” Schumer said, “and I want to tell you [Justice Brett] Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price.”
“You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

The case involves a 2014 law in Louisiana mandating that abortion providers have admitting privileges in a hospital within 30 miles of their facility. The case doesn’t even come close to a reversal of Roe v. Wade.
Schumer made the threatening remarks on behalf of pro-abortion activists who say that the law would severely hinder access to abortion in the state. Pro-life activists say the law protects women in the case of complications, unsanitary or unsafe conditions at the abortion clinic.
The threat prompted Chief Justice John Roberts to take the unusual action and rebuke Schumer for his “inappropriate” and “dangerous” comments.
While abortion is a charged and divisive issue, it is entirely possible and necessary for leaders to set the example for national dialogue.
Yet Schumer wasn’t the only Democrat to use inappropriate and potentially inciting language against Republicans of late.
Imitating the combative rhetoric of a street gang, former Democratic National Committee Interim Chair Donna Brazile went on Fox News to blast political rival Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
Brazile accused McDaniel of using “Russian talking points to sow division” in the Democrat Party. (Ironically, McDaniel said those points came from a New York Times article.)
When Fox News hosts raised their eyebrows at her strong language, Brazile doubled down, promptly telling McDaniel twice to “go to hell.”
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib joined the fray, sounding like a common thug while advocating for abortion rights at an event hosted by the Center for Reproductive Rights:
“You know, I in the legislature, Michigan legislature, used to say to people, ‘Yo, yo, yo, I don’t know what you’re so freakin’ obsessed with what I decide to do with my body, maybe you shouldn’t even have sex with me, or with you, or with any woman.”
As much as President Trump is accused of being divisive, his rhetoric doesn’t sound like it’s part of a back alley brawl, as does Tlaib’s.

Adding to the lists of threats, Democrat Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca from Denver tweeted two days ago, “For the record, if I do get the coronavirus I’m attending every MAGA rally I can.”

Then there was Young Turks host Cenk Uygur, who had a meltdown when Super Tuesday results didn’t hand a sure win to his choice for the Democrat presidential nomination, Bernie Sanders.
In an unhinged outburst (this time against the Democrat establishment), he blustered, “Now we’ve got absolute dig in warfare over the establishment. We didn’t star the war. They started the war.”

Months ago, Sanders retracted his endorsement for Uygur’s congressional candidacy in California after it was discovered that Uygur has a long history of making problematic statements about women and minority groups.
Given the political Left’s constant hammering on the need for inclusion, awareness of triggers and safe spaces, it’s more than ironic to see them indulge with such extreme hostility in the political sphere where cooperation and dialogue is most needed.
Yet it’s not unexpected. In 2019, Clarion Project noted that Congresswoman Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez and Ilhan Omar were increasingly giving a nod to political violence. Unchecked within their own party, expect belligerence to increase among Democrats as the 2020 presidential election nears.
